Group Fitness

We offer a wide range of fitness classes in an open and welcoming environment to all levels and abilities. In-person classes are held in the lower level of the Hangar Fitness Centre in one of the three functional studio spaces. Check in at the Customer Service Desk for your class pass or drop in for the facility.

“Meet” your instructors ahead of time by learning about their backgrounds, certifications, and what they bring to class.

How to show up

Arrive early
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes or more before class to check in at the customer service desk to get your class pass. (Note that classes are first-come, first-served, and some classes may fill quickly).

Next, give your class pass to your instructor as you enter the studio space.

Then find your spot and get settled. Instructors are here to support you—feel free to let them know it’s your first time and ask any questions you may have.

Participants can arrive no later than 5 minutes into class time so that they are able to properly warm up and receive all safety messages. Yoga classes do not permit late entry.

 

Bring the Essentials
You’ll want a water bottle, clean indoor shoes, and a towel. All fitness equipment is supplied, including yoga mat,s but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

 

Pick the Right Class for You
From Yoga to Spin to Bootcamp, there’s something for every fitness level – modifications are always an option. Check the class schedule above and read our class descriptions to know what to expect.

 

You don’t have to be “fit” to start
Group fitness is for everyone. Go at your own pace, take breaks, and just focus on moving your body in a way that feels good. Instructors can provide modifications to almost every activity, too!

 

Respect the space and community
Wipe down any equipment after class, keep your phone on silent, and be mindful of your space and others around you.

 

Post-Class Tips
Most classes finish with a cool-down and stretch. Stick around, hydrate, and if you’re feeling unsure, our instructors are happy to help.
