Move UBC Wellbeing Challenge
FEBRUARY 22ND TO MARCH 5TH
Join the Wellbeing Challenge – a celebration of movement and nutrition that invites you to explore opportunities to move well and eat well! Offered in partnership with NourishU (UBC’s Food and Nutrition month), which takes place this March!
- Chance to win lots of great prizes, including our grand prize: A $500 gift card to your favourite fitness-related shop and $250 to a local restaurant of your choice.
- Discover the many options for healthy eating and physical activity–wherever you are!
- Challenge your friends or colleagues, safely explore your neighbourhood, and have fun!
TUESDAYS @ 6:30-8PM, FEB 23RD TO MAR 16TH
Follow along with live, easy instruction, in the comfort of your own home. Classes will be taught virtually through zoom starting at 6:30pm. Instructor will create a list of ingredients you will need for each class.
Class 1: Lasagna with Zucchini Rolls served with Salad
Class 2: Tomato Rice Soup with fresh buns.
Class 3: Pesto Gnocchi
Class 4: Ratatouille with Flat Bread
You will need to purchase the class ingredients for this program.
Program registration is
$20.00$15.00 which includes all three remaining classes. Space is limited so register early!
Physical Activity Coaching
Struggling to fit movement into your day? Need exercise ideas? Want help getting started? Recreation is here for you! Speak with a student peer about how to get started, keep going or spice up your exercise routine.
Online coaching sessions will be 30 minutes set in a time that fits into your day. Coaching sessions help to break down barriers, set goals and suggest ways to fit activity into your schedule. Sessions are free and open to all of our UBC community.
