Learn to Run with Rachel
Program starts May 11th – June 7th.
Join UBCO Recreation in a new ‘virtual’ learn to run program. Rachel, a member of the UBCO Heat Cross Country team, will lead you in a 4-week Learn to Run program.
The goal of this 4 week program is to show you how to safely start running, what you need to do before and after you run to stay injury free and tips on how to progress yourself following this program.
You will have a group call with Rachel once a week where she will outline the training for the week, options for cross-training and an accountability check-in to make sure you are progressing through the training.
Learn to Run is a program for beginners or for runners that are looking to get back on a training program.
The goal of the program is to get you moving, exploring your community and finishing your 4 week program with a Virtual Group Run (June 8-14).
