Perfect for those looking to begin or broaden their leadership in the fitness industry, this course teaches the practical skills and professional ethics required to be a successful group fitness instructor.
Attendees will learn how to program plan for all class sections and fitness levels in a safe and caring atmosphere, as well as proper use of space, group formations and/or choreography skills. Stability ball, step, and free weight exercise ideas/techniques in both high and low impact situations will also be taught. This course will provide ample teaching opportunities throughout the course itself and supplemental practicum components.

$375.00 includes course materials and instruction.
Additional Fee’s and Assessment: Please note that upon successful completion of the course, attendees will be required to schedule a practical assessment with the instructor; additional fees (approx. $125) will be required for the courses practical component.
Students will be required to book and pay individually for their CFES Exam (approx. $75.00 UBCO Students / $125.00 Non-UBCO Students).
